Dear Under Secretary-General,
I have the honor to refer to your letter reference DESA-09/1702 of 12 November 2009, relating to the proposed arrangements
for the hosting of the “International Seminar on Early Warning and Businesss Cycle
Indicators”, which is scheduled to be held in Scheveningen, the Netherlands, from
14 to 16 December 2009, which reads as follows:

In reply, I have the honor to confirm that the terms of your proposal are acceptable
to the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Consequently, your letter and this reply shall constitute an Agreement between the United Nations and the Government
of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which shall enter into force on the date of this
reply and shall remain in force for the duration of the Seminar and for such additional
period as is necessary for its preparation and for the completion of its work and
for the resolution of any matters arising out of the Agreement, however, not to exceed
one year.
